Michele D'Amour & The Love Dealers

The Poetess Of The Blues

Michele penned her first song at the tender age of 6. The reason she wrote My Mom Is So Mean, is long forgotten, but it started a lifetime of turning the trials of her life, and others around her, into songs.

In 2011 the star aligned and Michele D'Amour & The Love Dealers came into existence.

This band of stellar musicians have not slowed down since the day they came together.

In 2014 they released Sin Comin On, which was the Washington Blues Society entry into

the Blues Foundations, Best Self-Released CD Challenge.

Since then, the band has released; Ante Up (2015), Lost Nights At The Leopard Lounge (2017), Wiggle Room (2018),

Heart Of Memphis (2019), which was recorded at Royal Studios in Memphis. In total, there are 41 original songs on those albums and they all received extensive airplay throughout the world.

DON & SHERYL'S BLUES BLOG

Michele is a big-voiced, blues-beltin’ chanteuse, who’s equally comfortable with a torch song

as she is with straight blues and even protest songs.

PBS 106.7 MELBOURNE - Peter Merrett

The sound is a  big, bold, soft, gentle, loving, wild, nurturing and brash as the city itself.

This bigger than life production is highlighted by D'Amour's impassioned vocals.

THE MYSTERY TRAIN - David Roman

They are a tight and professional unit, individually excelling when called upon, and always laying down a solid,

pulsating rocking rhythm, getting very funky, down and dirty!   And don’t we just love it!
