SHOW #2

It was planned that HOT TONIC DUO would open the show, but a few days before, I decided to add their drummer to fill out their sound in the theater.  Everyone agreed!

Victoria Woods, Josh Hindmarsh & Mark Griffith took the stage and performed a pretty flawless 45-minute set of songs that had the audience excited.  Josh's guitar work and Victoria's vocals were at their best, and Mark Griffith is one of those drummers that can pull you in to the melody and make you feel it. THANKS to Benny Piazza for the use of his drums to make this happen.

Short break and then I got to bring Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind onto the stage.

I have known Jason for so long and was so excited when he accepted the offer to perform. This was my second time bringing Jason on stage, the first in 2015 at the Bean Blossom Blues Fest in Indiana.  I had the honor of interviewing Jason SIX times on Music On The Couch, including the WORLD PREMIER of his album, "Behind The Veil".

The band is Jason on harp and vocals, Kaitlin 'Renegade' Dibble on vocals, Brent Johnson on guitar & vocals, Bill Blok on Bass and Bennie 'Boomba' Piazza on drums.

WOAH! High energy entertainment right there!  The shouts of approval were constant. They performed for 2-hours and the crowd wanted more, but time frames did not allow them to continue.

146 people clapping and cheering. Twice the audience for the first show.

It ended up, that there was a call to the city, rerouted to me...Four people complained about ONE SONG that happened two hours and 50 minutes into a three hour show. They wanted their money back. I doubt they wll come to shows in the future.

Again, thank you to the great team at The Hickman, Jacob, Kenny and Logan, along with Jack at refreshments. Thanks to Julio's Empanada's for their support.
